Jenny Halstead and myself arranged an exhibition The Last Gasometer and Reading’s Changing Skyline. This was to commemorate Reading’s last remaining gastower which was due for demolition. Originally both the gastower demolition and the exhibition were planned for 2020, but the pandemic and a pair of nesting peregrine falcons disrupted plans.
The exhibition was finally held in September 2021 and was a great success.
