London Watercolour Exhibitions 2020

Once again in 2020 I had work selected for the Royal Watercolour Society’s Contemporary Watercolour competition at the Bankside Gallery in London. This is my fifth time in the exhibition. I was amused that my work, Battersea Dance was hung in what I’ve started to consider ‘my spot’ (4 out of 5 times my work has been hung over the wheelchair ramp). And I was delighted to win the ‘The Artist’ prize which means The Artist magazine will publish an article about me. Lead times being what they are it isn’t due to appear until mid 2021.
I also had two pieces selected for the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours 208th exhibition which unfortunately couldn’t happen at the Mall Galleries in April as scheduled due to the COVID crisis, and was re-scheduled for early September.
