My first solo show was at the Peacock Gallery in Reading from 22 Sept to 11 Oct 2018. I applied for the exhibition about a year previously. The title ‘Landlocked’ seemed appropriate given my frustration at the time being stuck in Reading rather than on the coast. This had lead me to look more locally for subject matter. The resultant exhibition featured paintings of the built environment of Cornwall, Reading and London.
